Describe one thing that makes you different from other people.

Though I believe that some people identify with me, most may not. I believe in Jesus and I believe that He came and died for my sins and the rest of the worlds. This sets me apart because I have built my life and faith upon a foundation that is supernatural. I see the world in a different lens than most. I understand that life is hard and that it is bound to be because we live in a fallen world that is full of sin, however I know that following God allows me to have peace within difficulties. I know that some of my peers have the same belief and values as I do, but I also know that the majority don't. So though I am not completely set apart from everyone, my faith stands out because it is one of the most common topics that gets dismissed or rejected the most.

Summary: Today in class we took a quiz about rhetorical situations. 

Reflection: Taking a quiz allows me to test my brain for all the knowledge that was poured into me throughout the week. This quiz allowed me to read passages and then practice identifying what kind of situation I was looking at and dealing with.

Currently, I use phrases that I am commonly exposed to, like "bruh", I also use phrases that are common among gen z. These phrases are in a lot of peoples vocabulary as well. These words don't have any meaning yet, a large population of people understanding its meaning and how to use it. Write about something you’ve always been curious about.

I have always been interested and curious about people in general. I have been curious about how everyones minds work and what they are thinking. I have always been fascinated in people and their professions. For example, I would never be interested in being an eye doctor, however so many people are and they actually make a living out of it. I have been curious about what prompted them to want to be an eye doctor? Is it about the money? Are they actually that interested in eyes? Do they just want to help people? I have been curious about people and why they choose to set out their life the way that they do. Overall, I think I just am a very curious person when it comes to people and why they choose to do certain things in their life. With 4.5-week grades posting on September 2, reflect on your experience in AP Language so far. What has been going well for you, what has been challenging, and what is one thing you need to improve moving forward?

 So far in AP lang, I have been learning new methods and exercises that help me break down a prompt to help me fully understand what I am being asked and how I should go about answering it. I have also learned about different types of claims and how to use evidence through experience, readings, and observations. I think I have been fairly good and keeping up with the different kinds of claims and applying them to situations Im learning about. I think I may need to improve my writing time because it is the most challenging thing for me. I can come up with a good claim and evidence when I have all the time I need to brainstorm, however, under a time crunch, I tend to freak out instead of focusing on the prompt. I would like to figure out how to write everything I need to write in a timely manner and keep up the stamina to write essays in that time. Summary: Today we wrote our paragraph in writable.
