After reviewing the feedback on your argument essay, identify one thing you did well and one area you need to improve. Explain what you will do differently the next time you write an AP Lang argument essay.

 After looking over my essay, i think I did good on providing evidence. I had a lot of stories that lined up perfectly with my thesis. I think I did a good job with introducing my points and then going into my evidence. I think I may need to do better on my commentary. I struggled with trying to correlate everything back to my thesis and how it makes sense in the long run. I also think I could do better with my vocabulary and my phrasing so that I could get my sophistication point. Next time, I think I need to be better with my timing. I spent too much time trying to make sure my evidence made sense that I almost ran out of time to write a conclusion. I would also like to try and plan better so that I can write quickly and effectively, for example, using a mind map.

Summary: Today we went over our essays and reviewed the feedback. We also started our poem posters on adobe.

Reflection: Looking over my essay and my review allows me to identify what I did wrong and how i could do better next time. Having feedback allows be to see how i could plan differently in the future to ensure maximum amount of writing time while still have a well thought out essay.

Currently, I use phrases that I am commonly exposed to, like "bruh", I also use phrases that are common among gen z. These phrases are in a lot of peoples vocabulary as well. Write about something you’ve always been curious about.

I have always been interested and curious about people in general. I have been curious about how everyones minds work and what they are thinking. I have always been fascinated in people and their professions. For example, I would never be interested in being an eye doctor, however so many people are and they actually make a living out of it. I have been curious about what prompted them to want to be an eye doctor? Is it about the money? Are they actually that interested in eyes? Do they just want to help people? I have been curious about people and why they choose to set out their life the way that they do. With 4.5-week grades posting on September 2, reflect on your experience in AP Language so far. What has been going well for you, what has been challenging, and what is one thing you need to improve moving forward?

 So far in AP lang, I have been learning new methods and exercises that help me break down a prompt to help me fully understand what I am being asked and how I should go about answering it. I have also learned about different types of claims and how to use evidence through experience, readings, and observations. I think I have been fairly good and keeping up with the different kinds of claims and applying them to situations Im learning about. I think I may need to improve my writing time because it is the most challenging thing for me. I can come up with a good claim and evidence when I have all the time I need to brainstorm, however, under a time crunch, I tend to freak out instead of focusing on the prompt.
