Write about a conversation that changed you.
I always have conversations with my grandma, however they aren't typical conversations. My grandmother just likes to talk about anything, if something is on her mind, she makes it known. On Sundays and Wednesdays she drives me to and from church and she talks to me about anything, sometimes I think she truly just needs someone to listen to her thoughts. She likes to talk about what is happening in life and how that is making her feel. She tells me about how things are constantly changing around her and how that changes her. Recently in my extended family, their have been health problems. Those health problems are related to genetics mainly. This past Sunday, I had a conversation with her about those health issues. From what I gathered, she is very anxious about it but she isn't completely worried, she reminds me that no matter what happens God is still in control no matter the outcome may be. I have heard that multiple times and I believe it, however, it is much easier said than done to believe that God has absolutely everything planned out and everything is in control. So, the most recent conversation that changed me was with my grandmother when she changed my perceptive of Gods hands in our lives and how strong her faith was in the midst of worry and doubt.
Summary: Today we looked over how an acrobat it similar to a poet. We completed a sheet that went through lines and identified the figurative language.
Reflection: Going over how an acrobat is similar to a poet allows us to understand the poet to a different level, having that knowledge allows me to understand his line of reasoning better. Looking into the lines for figurative language allows me to understand the author and what his intentions were when he was writing about the risks he was taking by becoming an author.
